Jacqueline Elaine “Jackie” Sanders departed this life on Sunday January 22nd, 2017. She was born on April 30th 1951 in Abbeville County to the late Eleanor Brownlee. Jackie was raised in the home of the late Mark and Irene Brownlee. She was the widow of the late Rufus Sanders.
Jackie was a member of Mt. Lebanon AME Church and served on the senior choir. She also attended Little River Baptist Church, while attending she was on the usher board and choir. Jackie had a heart for children; she took pride in her employment at Stepping Stones Learning Center.
She leaves to cherish fond memories two loving sons, Christopher Brownlee (Tanglar) (Belton); Keith Woody (Ware Shoals) two step-sons Melvin, Eddie and four step-daughters Dianne, Mary, Arleen, Debra Jean and the late Alice Elaine, Eight grandchildren Natika, Aiden, Perla Hailey, Quae, Kya, Aaron, Charnissa, Ja-miah, and Christopher. Jackie was raised in the home with Mot, Judy, Ricky and Darlene as siblings and is survived by her Aunt Irene Brownlee (Brooklyn, NY), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
