James Robert Rouse

James Rouse, 79, of 22 Woodlawn Drive, died Monday at Prisma Health. 

Born in Abbeville County he was the son of the late James Alex Rouse Jr. and Almeta Brownlee Rouse.  

He was retired from Mitchelin Tire Co.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife Shirley Keller Rouse of the home; daughters, Annette Rouse and Vickie Childs; brothers, Glenn, Jackie and Thomas Rouse; sister JoAnn Hicks (Reuben); and three grandchildren.


Funeral services are 2 pm Sunday in the Little River Multicultural Center.  The body will be on view at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Saturday beginning at 1 pm where the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm.  The body will be placed in the Multicultural Center at 1 pm. 

The family is at the home.
