Ronald Smith, 64, of 9 West Main Street, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, S.C.

Born in Greenwood County, He was the son of the late Mildred Smith. He was employed by the State Nursing Company as an actor and worked in the Textile industry in his earlier years. He was a member of Dunn Creek Baptist Church in Donalds,SC.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, one daughter, Sherika McGrier Terrell, Ferndale, MI; one son, Ronald McGrier, Detroit, MI; one brother, Albert Smith, Detroit, MI; four sisters, Shirley Ann Steeples, Detroit, MI; Mildred McGrier, Ware Shoals, SC; Joyce Anty, Ware Shoals, SC; and Carolyn Smith, Ware Shoals, SC; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Alvin Smith and one sister, Yvonne Barnes.

Funeral services for Ronald will be held 12 Noon Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Dunn Creek Baptist Church in Donalds, SC.

Viewing will be held from 12pm-8pm Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral home in Ware Shoals, SC.
