Barbara Jean Welch

Barbara Jean Welch, 91, widow of A. J. Welch, formerly of Ware Shoals, SC, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, in Salisbury, NC.

Born in Ware Shoals, SC, she was the daughter of Carlton and Alverdia Butler.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish fond memories three children; son, Frederick Welch, Dalzell, SC; two daughters, Bonnie Welch Graham, Greenwood, SC and Melrose Welch Brownlee, Ware Shoals, SC; grandchildren, Keesha Welch, Cherita Hardy, Michael Martin, Sentell Brownlee and Donnie Graham, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Chimya, Niyelle, Nyzaiah, Jasmine, Tre’, Kenidee, and Ariana; one sister, Melrose Patton, of Houston, TX; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the home of her daughter, Bonnie Graham, 119 Pascal Drive, Greenwood, SC, where the family will receive friends and loved ones. 

A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service.
