Barbara Stewart Young

Barbara Stewart Young, 70, of 113 Maddox Road, Ware Shoals, South Carolina passed away August 20, 2022, at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, South Carolina. 
 

Born February 16, 1952, in Lauren County, she was the daughter of Dewey Reeder and Gladys Stewart.

 Barbara was employed at Riegel Mills as an open-end spinner until she retired.

 Barbara was a faithful member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Laurens County.

Barbara leaves to cherish fond memories, daughter, Toni Cook, Ware Shoals, SC; two sons, Glenn Moragne (Linda), Atlanta, GA and Andre Steeple, Ware Shoals, SC; three grandchildren, Adarius Moragne, Atlanta, GA, Ayden Watley and Alexus Steeple, both of Ware Shoals, SC; other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Young.

Graveside services are 12 noon Thursday, New Prospect Baptist Church, Prospect Church Road, Honea Path, SC, with the pastor, Rev. Gregory Singleton, officiating.

Barbara will be on view Wednesday from 3-7 pm at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service, Ware Shoals, SC.

Family members are at their respective homes.
