Bertha Lee Robinson

Bertha Lee Gilmore Robinson, 90, died Friday, September 21, 2018, at Heartland Health Care- West, Greenville, South Carolina.

Born in Chipley, Florida, she was the daughter of Anthony and Florence Shepherd Gilmore.  She was a data entry operator for the City of New York.  After retirement, she and her husband, Robert (R. L.) Robinson relocated in Ware Shoals, SC and united with the Dunn Creek Baptist Church. She loved bowling and painting, and was an excellent artist.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, R. L. Robinson, her parents,  two brothers, Irving and Anthony Gilmore.

Bertha leaves to cherish fond memories, one sister, Delores Andrews, Brooklyn, New York, niece, Terraine Singletary, Brooklyn, NY and nephew, Rev. Anthony Gilmore, III, Bowie, MD., other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Bertha L. Robinson will begin Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 4PM-8PM at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home in Ware Shoals, SC.
