Calvin Eugene Anderson, Sr.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Reverend Calvin Eugene Anderson, Sr. was called home to Glory.

Reverend Calvin E. Anderson, Sr. was born December 2, 1952 in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late Wesley Davis and Alice Anderson.

After graduating from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, South Carolina, he served in the United States Army and was later honorably discharged.

Reverend Anderson was employed as a Supervisor at Baxter Tube in Donalds, South Carolina and later retired from Belton Industries in Belton, South Carolina.

Reverend Anderson was the Beloved Pastor of Hidden Manna #2 ECC in Donalds, South Carolina.

Reverend Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Davis and Alice Anderson; one brother Johnny Anderson; two sisters, Bishop Gladys Anderson Holloway and Dorothy Anderson; and Brother -in-law Jay Burrell.

Precious memories will be cherished by his children, Rev Phillip Calhoun (Rev. Michelle), of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Jerri Calhoun (Mary), of Ninety-Six South Carolina,  Natasha Anderson, of  Greenwood South Carolina, Natisha Anderson Gadsden(Keith), of Edisto Island South Carolina, Schanen Anderson, of Tallahassee Florida , and Calvin Eugene Anderson Jr., of  Ware Shoals South Carolina; Loving Sisters, Gracie Calhoun, Susan Burrell, Margaret  Anderson, Cheryl Jones (Joseph); Brother-in-Law, Jimmy Holloway; Joyous Occasions with 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; There were so many great times with nieces and nephews. 

We are forever grateful and thankful to our Precious and Adored Jo Ann Anderson

The family is at the home of Reverend Phillip and Reverend Michelle Calhoun, 5829 Highway 252, Ware Shoals, South Carolina.

Memorial Service will be 3pm Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Dunn Creek Baptist Church in Donalds, South Carolina.
