Cornell Devlin, 73, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2024 in McCormick, South Carolina.
Before entering the nursing home Cornell previously lived at 161 Independent Way, Greenwood, SC for over six years and at Ware Shoals Manor for six months.
Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of James Parker and Fannie Bell Devlin.
Cornell was employed as a textile worker at Riegel until he retired.
Cornell was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lillian Devlin Brownlee.
Cornell leaves to cherish his loving memories, one daughter, Terri Cohen, of Hodges, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Kadeja Cohen and Makayla Cohan; three sisters, Inez Covington, of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Katie Davis, of Donalds, South Carolina, and Mary Devlin Anty, of Greenwood, South Carolina; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial chapel of the funeral home, with a public viewing from 12 noon until the hour of service.
The family is at the home of his sister, Inez Covington, 32 W. Main Street Extension, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
