Floyd Thompson Jr.

Floyd Thompson Jr., 77, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home. 

Born in Mebane, North Carolina, he was the son of Floyd Thompson Sr. and Gladys Fuller Poole.

Floyd was employed as a NY State Corrections Officer for NY State.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Nora Lee Drayton, Shirley Knight and Susan Thorton.

Floyd leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Eleanor Brownlee Thompson, of the home; one son, Floyd Thompson III, of San Francisco, CA; one daughter, Erika Brownlee Thompson, of Queens, NY; one brother, Thomas (JoAnn) Thompson, of Charlotte, NC; four sisters, Louise Thompson, of Charloltte, NC, Mildred Hardy, of Elon, NC, Carol Patricia (Randy) French, of Long Island, NY, and Sandra Faye (Earl Washington) Thompson, of Cameron, NC; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.

The family is at the home.
