Grady Lovelace, 68, of 15 Balentine Drive, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at his home.
Born in Donalds, He was the son of the late Claude Lovelace Sr. and Arie Singleton Lovelace. He was a self-employed carpenter and volunteer firefighter with the Donalds Fire Department that worked in his community and surrounding areas for many years. He graduated from Dixie High School in Due West, SC and also attended Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC. He was a member of Mt. Olive AME Church in Donalds, S.C.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories wife, Gloria Jean Lovelace of Ware Shoals, SC; one daughter, Yashica Lovelace, Ware Shoals, SC; two sons, Demond Lovelace, Laurens, SC; Grady L. Lovelace, Ware Shoals, SC; three sisters, Margaret A. Brownlee, Ware Shoals, SC; Linda J. Lovelace, Donalds, SC; and Bessie M. Lewis, Belton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Grady was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Odell Lovelace and Claude Lovelace Jr., and two sisters, Myrtle Dixon, and Dorothy D. Rouse.
The family will receive friends at the home located at 15 Balentine Drive, Ware Shoals, S.C.
Funeral service for Mr. Grady Lovelace will be held 2pm Monday, December 30, 2019 at Mt. Olive AME Church located at 216 E. Main St. Donalds, S.C.
Viewing will be held from 12pm-8pm Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home.
