Jerry Walker

Jerry Clifton Walker, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2026. Born on December 26, 1954, Jerry was a devoted father, family man, and a steady presence to those who knew and loved him.

Jerry valued peace, family, and the quiet strength that comes from deep roots. He carried a deep love for his family history and found meaning in the land and legacy he would one day leave behind. To his family, he was a source of grounding, wisdom, love, and laughter.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Brooklyn Greene (Remus) and Brittany Amosu (Michael); his cherished grandchildren, Marilyn, Andrew, Lauryn, Maya, and Ava; his sibling, Furman Walker (Patricia); his mother, Elizabeth Walker; his longtime companion, Marie Waldrop; and extended family who will carry his memory forward with gratitude and love. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Suber Walker.

A public viewing will be held at Robinson Walker Funeral Service in Ware Shoals, SC on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm. A formal funeral will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2pm at Dunn Creek Baptist Church in Donalds, SC. All family and friends are welcome to attend. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
