Katrina Inezer Thompson

Katrina Inezer Dodson Thompson, 50, of 8 Pine Lane, Donalds, South Carolina, passed away at her home on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Katrina is the daughter of Deacon Arthur Dodson Jr. and Reverend Dr. Stella Dodson. She was born in Kenitra, Morocco and attended the public schools of Greenwood County and graduated from Ware Shoals High School in 1991 and she was a member of Forksville Baptist Church. Katrina was married to Christopher Thompson, Sr. and to this union two children were born, Christopher and Chasity Thompson.

Katrina loved her family and was a loyal friend and employee. At the time of her death she was employed as a manager at Burger King.

Katrina was preceded in death by her sister, Felicia Nicole Dodson, paternal grandparents, Arthur Dodson, Sr. and Inezer Dodson; maternal grandparents, Lewis and Estelle Richardson.

Katrina leaves to cherish her loving memories, son, Christopher Alexander Thompson, Jr., of Honolulu, Hawaii; daughter, Chasity Alexandria Thompson (Angel Sebastian Chiaj Nato), of Columbia, South Carolina; grandson, Cristian Lucas Nato, of Columbia, South Carolina; her parents, Deacon Arthur Dodson, Jr. and Rev. Dr. Stella Dodson of the home; two sisters, Selina Dodson Williams (Eugene), of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Neina Dodson, of Donalds, South Carolina; nieces, nephews and a multitude of family and friends that will miss her greatly.

Funeral service for Mrs. Katrina Inezer Thompson will be 1pm, Friday January 12, 2024 at the Little River Multicultural Complex in Hodges, South Carolina.

Interment will be in the Forksville Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalds, South Carolina.

Viewing will be 3-7pm Thursday, January 11, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service in Ware Shoals, South Carolina.
