Ms. Margaret Ann Brownlee, age 73, of 111 Maddox Road, Ware Shoals, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Hospice House in Greenwood, South Carolina.
She was born in Abbeville County and was the daughter of the late Claude Lovelace Sr. and Arie Singleton Lovelace.
She joined Mt. Olive AME Church in Donalds, South Carolina at an early age. She attended J.S. Wright High School in Abbeville, South Carolina. She retired from the Renaissance Senior Living Facility in Due West, South Carolina, where she was employed as a Nutrition Service Associate.
Her hobbies were baking cakes, cooking, playing cards, watching football. She was a avid San Francisco 49ers fan.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lovelace Sr. and Arie Singleton Lovelace; three brothers, O’Dell Lovelace, Claude Lovelace, Jr. and Grady Lovelace; and two sisters, Myrtle Dixon and Dorothy Rouse.
Margaret leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son, Curtis Dion Brownlee, of Columbia, South Carolina; two daughters, Stacey Shell (Leon), of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, and Angela B. Davis (Robert P. L. Davis), of Honea Path, South Carolina; two sisters, Linda Lovelace, of Donalds, South Carolina and Bessie Lewis, of Belton, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
Graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Dunn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held from 4-8pm Monday, February 28, 2022 in the chapel of Robinson Walker Funeral Service.
