Martha Lee Irby Mines was the wife of the late Carlos Mines, Jr. and daughter of the late Willie Lee and Hattie Bell Irby. She departed her life Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her home.
Martha was born in Dallas, Alabama September 8, 1946. As a young girl, she gave her life to Jesus Christ. Later in life she moved to New York City, New York. She later met and married the late Carlos Mines, Jr. Martha was a very caring and loving person and her family loved her dearly.
Martha leaves to morn, her siblings, Minister Deloise and Alterson Johnson, Odesta Pope, Will Clinton Irby, Wilbert Irby and Wayne Irby; her sister-in-laws that were also very close to her, Constance (Wardell) Martin, Viola Battle, Shirley Mines, and Lenora Porter; and a host of
family and friends that will miss her dearly
Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial chapel of the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Good Hope Baptist Church cemetery in Hodges, South Carolina.
Public viewing will be 3-7pm Monday, March 18, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial chapel of the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
