Mary Freeman, 95, of 16 Walker Street, Ware Shoals, South Carolina, passed away, Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare, in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of Branch and Annie Adams.
Mary was married to the late Eunace Freeman and to this union two sons were born, James and Eddie Freeman.
Mary was employed at Riegel Mills as a textile worker until she retired.
Mary was a faithful member of Dunn Creek Baptist church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Eunace Freeman; parents, Branch and Annie Adams; three brothers, Calvin Coleman, John Coleman and James Coleman; one sister, Mary Henderson; and one grandchild Timothy Freeman.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sons, James "Bo" Freeman, of the home and Eddie Freeman (Linda K. Freeman), of Dacula, Ga; six grandchildren, Shawn Freeman, Brandon Freeman, Jonathan Starks-Freeman, James Williams, Larry L. Williams, and Martha Ann Martin; a host of great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Minne Freeman, of Columbia, SC and Rebecca Coleman, of Ware Shoals, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss her dearly.
Funeral service will be 2pm Sunday, October 27, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
Public viewing will be from 1-6pm Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
