Maurice Aaron Dial

Maurice Dial born June 12, 1967 departed his life at his home on February 13, 2022 at the age of 54. He was the son of Mr. Roosevelt Dial and the late Catherine Dial. He was born in Greenwood County and resided at 62 Upper Shady Grove Road in Donalds, SC.

Maurice attended the Ware Shoals School System in Ware Shoals, SC. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church. He worked with Cable Connector for a while.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Aull Dial; two brothers, Cornelius A. Dial and Patrick A. Dial and one nephew, Cornelius McDowell. 

Maurice leaves to cherish his fond memories, his father Roosevelt Dial of the home; two sisters, Renee Williams (Freddie) of Donalds, SC and Brenda Anderson, of Columbia, SC; one son, Aldric Jordan Morton (Chloe), of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Marisha Singleton, of Greenville, SC; one granddaughter, Skylar Morton, of Greenwood, SC; a special friend, Gwen Cunningham, of Donalds, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A special thank you to his caregivers James Robinson and Chalacy Hawthorne who took care of him during his illness. 

The family is at the home of his sister, Renee (Freddie) Williams located at 63 Heritage Circle, Donalds, South Carolina.

Funeral service for Mr. Maurice Dial will be held 1pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Little River Baptist Church in Ware Shoals, SC.

Burial will be at the Dunn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Ware Shoals, SC.

Public viewing will be held from 3-7pm Friday February 18, 2022 in the Robinson Walker Funeral Service Chapel in Ware Shoals, SC.
