Donalds, SC – Mildred Irene Smith, 80 years old, widow of Robert O’dell Smith, died Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, SC.

Born in Brevard, NC, she was the daughter of Philmore and Hattie Perkins Walker.  She was retired from Riegel Mills and was a member of Freedom Full Gospel Baptist Church, Ware Shoals, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, Albert, William, Raymond and Wayne Walker and one sister, Rosa Lee Davis.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, one son, Robert O’dell Smith Jr. (Melissa), Ware Shoals, SC; two daughters, Rebecca Castile (John), Greer, SC and Threasa White (Gabriel), Columbia, SC; three sisters, Audrey Walker Smith and Evelyn Walker, Pisgah Forest, NC and Linda Henderson, Simpsonville, SC; one brother, Danny Walker, Pisgah Forest, NC; seven grandchildren, Amber Smith, Santonio Mays, Kennedi Smith, Shaun Dixon (Latarsha), Channing Dixon (Tessa), Chase Dixon (Shadrian) and Robert David White; and four great-grandchildren Jelin Dixon, Lauren Dixon, Malcolm Page, and Kinsey Evans.

The family will receive friends at the home, 55 Avondale Drive, Donalds, SC.

Funeral services are 2pm Friday, January 31, 2020 at Dunn Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  The body will be on view Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service from 12 noon- 8 pm.
