Paul Preston Posey

Paul Preston Posey, 83, of Honea Path, SC, passed away, Tuesday, August 1, 2023. 

Born in Donalds, SC, he was the son of Floyd and Evelyn Mays Posey.

Paul loved cars, clothes and his hair. He was employed as a textile worker at Woodside until he retired.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Floyd Posey Jr., James Albert Posey, and Larry Gene Posey; one sister, Katherine Posey; and one brother in law, Robert Beeks. 

Paul leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Donnie (Jackie) McGrier, of Ware Shoals, SC, Mark Williams, of Anderson, SC, and Steve McDavid, of Belton, SC; one sister, Elaine Posey Beeks, of Honea Path, SC; three grandchildren, Deanna Suber, Cierra Suber, and Kenneth Suber; three great-grandchildren, Tiaynna Anderson, Makenzi Suber, and Mia Suber; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, August 7, 2023 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel of Robinson-Walker Funeral Service in Ware Shoals, SC.

Public viewing will be 12pm-until the hour of service on Monday, August 7, 2023 in the Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel of Robinson-Walker Funeral Service in Ware Shoals, SC.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie (Jackie) McGrier, 105 Burton Drive, Ware Shoals, SC and the home of Mrs. Evelyn Beeks, 313 E. Hampton Avenue, Honea Path, SC.
