Valerie Robinson, 55, of 324 Dunns Creek Road, Donalds, SC, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.
She was born August 19, 1964 and was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Joe Williams and the late Mr. Nathan Thompson.
She was a graduate of Ninety-Six High School and a housewife. She was a faithful member of Little River Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir and kitchen ministry. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Thompson; son, Mark Thompson; and two sisters, JoAnn Thompson and Brenda Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her precious loving memories her husband, Milton Robinson, of the home; two daughters, Ashley Thompson, of Ware Shoals, SC and Faatima Thompson, of Ninety Six, SC; four grandchildren, Markevius Jones, Amoni Smith, Makinsley Smith (Noodles & Noodles), and Anari Smith, all of Ninety Six, SC; one step daughter, Latoya Todd; three step grandchildren, Atoya Goode, Nakaezja Todd and Ke’Ozja Todd, all of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers, Waleed Thompson, of Saluda, SC and Nathan Thompson Jr., of Abbeville, SC; two aunts, Queenie Arthur, of Prioleau, Englewood, NJ and Jessie Dean Tootie, of New York City, NY; and many other relatives and friends who will truly miss her.
Graveside service will be held 2pm Thursday, July 30,2020 at the Dunn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Viewing will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 3-7 pm in the funeral home Wilbur Robinson Memorial Chapel at Robinson-Walker Funeral Service.
